cancellation policy

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024:



I HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY FLEXIBLE WITH MY CANCELLATION POLICY, ESPECIALLY SINCE COVID, BECAUSE I DON’T WANT ANYONE COMING INTO MY OFFICE WHEN THEY ARE SICK. I REQUIRE 24 HOURS NOTICE TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE AND I SEND OUT REMINDER NOTIFICATIONS 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE SO THAT IF YOU NEED TO SCHEDULE YOU WILL HAVE AMPLE TIME TO NOTIFY ME. I’M FINDING THAT I STILL FREQUENTLY HAVE MANY LAST MINUTE CANCELLATIONS THAT ARE LESS THAN 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE.

PLEASE READ BELOW MY UPDATED CANCELLATION POLICY:


WHEN YOU BOOK AN APPOINTMENT, THAT IS YOUR “RESERVATION” WITH ME. WHEN YOU “RESERVE” A SPOT, THAT MEANS NO ONE ELSE CAN BOOK THAT SPOT AND IF YOU CANCEL LAST MINUTE OR SAME DAY, I DON’T GET PAID WHICH IMPACTS MY BOTTOM LINE IMMENSELY. I SEND OUT REMINDER NOTIFICATIONS 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE SO THAT IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL, YOU CAN GIVE ME AMPLE NOTICE TO OFFER SOMEONE ELSE YOUR “RESERVATION”.



  • ANY APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED WITH LESS THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE WILL BE CHARGED HALF THE AMOUNT OF THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.



  • ANY APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED SAME DAY WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT



  • AS A REMINDER, IF YOU MUST CANCEL FOR ANY REASON YOU MAY SEND A FRIEND, SPOUSE, CO-WORKER, ETC. IN YOUR PLACE.



PLEASE FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES IF YOU MUST CANCEL:


  • Please give me AS MUCH ADVANCE NOTICE AS POSSIBLE IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE. I have a waiting list of people who want to get in sooner and I can very often fill all my empty spots with enough advance notice.

  • When you book, YOU AND I are both responsible for that booking. My responsibility is that I will be there ready to give a service at the time you requested, and you will honor your scheduling of said appointment by showing up. When you book, you are reserving time on my schedule and that time is reserved for YOU and no one else. If you don't show up or cancel at the last minute, I don't make money and that hurts my bottom line and affects my ability to be in business.

  • If you cannot make your appointment for any reason and must cancel at the last minute, you can send a friend, co-worker, husband, wife to take your place. I happily will accept a replacement in your place!

  • I will also do my best to give you as much advance notice if I need to change your appointment. That is my commitment to you!
